The Silverlake Vineyard in Pattaya is one of a growing list of vineyards and wineries in Thailand.
Silverlake Vineyard is located about 25km away from Walking Street in Pattaya, Thailand. If you come from Bangkok, it only takes about 1.5-hour to this beautiful and exotic vineyard.
The vineyard is Situated in a picturesque location at the base of Khao Chi Chan (Buddha Mountain) Silverlake Vineyard is a popular tourist destination for visitors in Pattaya. In addition to the wine tours, Silverlake has a restaurant, a bed & breakfast, and a small set of shops. Established in 2002 by Mr. Surachai Tangjaitrong and Mrs. Supansa Nuangpirom (a famous Thai actress), Silverlake Vineyard is a passion project focusing on mixing fantastic wine with great music. This vineyard has fast become a big tourist and entertainment destination.
Silverlake Vineyard and Winery Tours
If you are looking to just relax and have the day planned for you, then you can take one of the two tours available.
There is a Vineyard Tour and a Wine Tasting Tour. In both of these tours, you will be driven around Silverlake’s expansive grounds in the comfort of an electric cart.
Here you will have so many opportunities to take photos of the amazing scenery and views. Both the tours take about 30 – 45 minutes.
Silverlake Vinyard Tours
In this tour, you are able to experience the beauty of the vineyard and its grounds. From its lakes, gardens, beautiful flowers, and a European styled Windmill on the grounds. When you want to stretch your legs, then just take a walk around and snap a few pictures.
The tour also takes you on a tour of their grape juice facility where you will have a chance to sample the product with a free bottle of grape juice.
Silverlake Wine Tasting Tour
As you will probably guess, the wine tasting is for adults that are over 20 and will include all the Vineyard tour plus you will have a tour of the winery and 2 free glasses of wine to try
Silverlake Wines
When you produce wine in tropical climates, there are challenges. From the heat all year round and the humidity, this can lead to fungus, rot, and the lack of grapes that are able to grow in the region. However, Thai winemakers have become masters of solving these problems and improving techniques for growing grapes in this climate.
New Latitude Wines
Thailand has coined a term for their wine-growing region: New Latitude wines. This represents that wines grown in Thailand are done so outside of the traditional latitudes of wine regions of the world.

When it comes to great food then the Silverlake Wine & Grill is the place to be. With great views of the property, if eating inside is not your thing, then you can dine out on the patio. The menu has a lot of Italian dishes and wood oven-fired pizzas. This restaurant also has an amazing selection of Thai food for those that still want Thai.
This amazing restaurant is open all week and has live music in the evenings, so the combination of great food and amazing views makes this the ideal place for food and drink.
Grape Products (non-wine)
As you have probably guessed, wine is not the only thing made at the Silverlake Vineyards. Here you will also find many grape related products. You can get fresh grapes, grape juice, raises, jams, and a variety of cookies and pastries made from grapes.
At the entrance to the vineyard, there is a small shop where you can buy all these items
Movie House Bed & Breakfast
If you get tired and want to stay overnight at Silverlake, then there is a Bed & Breakfast called The Movie House.
These bed and breakfasts have several Thai Cinema themed cottages that are inspired by the acting career of one of the owners.
The B&B seems to be targeted towards Thai tourists and reservations can only be made by phone.

And if wine tasting and a trip to Buddha Mountain is not enough for you, then why not try your hand at a spot of golf.
